Estates Facilities Manager (Public Sector)

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Estates Facilities Manager for an initial 12 month period.

Responsibilities
The Estates Facilities Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the Estates function to ensure buildings, facilities and learning environment are safe, effectively maintained and fit for purpose, and provide an excellent experience. The post holder will also be responsible for the effective and efficient provision of catering and facilities management services and acting as the Client's contract manager for the proposed major new builds as well for other outsourced contracts.

Requirements

Essential Criteria
Qualifications and experience

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent relevant professional qualification in facility management.
  • 3 years' experience of Property Management within a multi-site, dispersed environment, including facilities management, security and risk reduction.
  • Experience in the effective management of resources including experience of managing a budget of £3.5 million.
  • A track record of motivating, leading and managing a successful team.
  • Report writing and presentation of factual information, providing reports to board level.


Remuneration
£44,000 - £46,000 plus discount benefits.
