Estates Assistant Project Planner (Public Sector)

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an Estates Assistant Project Planner for 6 months initially with the possibility of extension/permanent, based in Lisburn.

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the management of the estate, vehicle fleet, risk management, information governance and ensuring compliance with any legal requirements associated with service delivery.

  • Assist with the development of the service estate based on assessed need through the youth capital programme
  • Ensure the service estate is maintained to an acceptable standard
  • Ensure the operational capacity of buildings
  • To manage the youth service maintenance requests in conjunction with Estates Management Staff
  • To monitor maintenance budget in conjunction with Estates Management Staff
  • Manage and co-ordinate external users of Service provision



Essential skills required

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree (UK Qualification and Credit Framework Level 6) or an equivalent, higher or professional qualification and have two years demonstrable experience of preparing business cases and managing a budget;

OR

  • Have four years demonstrable experience of preparing business cases and managing a budget.

  • Have experience of managing staff
  • Demonstrable experience in risk management
  • Ability to use ICT based Management Information System


Remuneration
£44,428, per annum, plus discount benefits.
