Environmental Advisor


VANRATH are currently recruiting for an experienced Environmental Advisor on behalf of our Client, to join their Belfast office.

The Environmental Advisor will join a team delivering civil engineering projects primarily in water and waste-water infrastructure. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will assist and advise our delivery team on environmental issues relating feasibility studies, design, planning, procurement and undertake early contractor involvement (ECI) and construction stage project reviews and audits.


Remuneration:
£30,000 + Benefits


The Ideal Person

  • Degree in an Environmental related subject.
  • Up to 7 years industry experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • MS Office proficient.
  • A full driving license.


Responsibilities

  • Representing Employer's throughout the full life cycle of projects.
  • Providing environmental advice on feasibility studies, option appraisals and business cases.
  • Working as part of an integrated project management team
  • Pre-construction advice to the project delivery team on environmental issues.
  • Construction stage reviews and audits of contractors to ensure compliance.
  • Working to meet Health and Safety and overall project quality objectives.
