About you

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the Aviation industry or similar

  • Degree level educated or equivalent

  • Excellent decision and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to use quality tools such as 5 Why and 8D

  • Previous experience setting up quality procedures around quality assurance

  • Ability to understand the wider business needs and consider appropriate strategies to drive towards business goals

  • Qualified auditor or similar experience is desirable

  • Detailed knowledge of current quality and related working practices and standards


What you'll do

  • An ability to communicate at all levels within the business, suppliers, partners and customers

  • Oversee quality testing and finding gaps in the testing

  • Overseeing quality control processes, and a team of QA specialists

  • Create quality control policies and standards for the company to follow

  • Establishing and implementing extremely high-quality standards for products (NPI)

  • Be the QA source of knowledge within the team with relevant experience of sector specific and industry standards

  • Plan and perform project audits in accordance with the Project Quality Plans and audit strategy

  • Be able to give professional QA guidance to company staff, suppliers and subcontractors

  • Investigate customer complaints and Incident Reports using 5Y and 8D

  • To assist in formulating budgets, plans, programmes, and targets for the area of responsibility
