Are you an experienced Engineering Manager who has worked with heavy plant machinery in the manufacturing industry? If so, this could be a great opportunity to join a company going from strength to strength. This is an off the tools role that will require an organised and pro-active manager with great negotiation skills to keep the business running and reduce downtime.
What you'll do:
- Maintaining all administrative records for plant and equipment maintenance
- Maintaining parts inventory levels
- Efficiently scheduling and overseeing all maintenance activities conducted by subcontractors and suppliers
- Oversee all warranty contracts including warranty claims/disputes
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are conducted in line with company Health & Safety requirements
- Stay informed about new innovative equipment and processing solutions
- Increase production output through the up time of plant and equipment
- Implement alternative fuel powered equipment where possible to reduce carbon footprint and fuel costs
- Maximise the operational footprint and site capacity
- Data aggregation and the application of data to measure fuel costs, efficiency, machine performance and operator behaviour.
About you:
- At least 5 years maintenance management experience within a plant maintenance environment
- Excellent negotiation experience
- Demonstrate excellent troubleshooting ability, technical knowledge and Root Cause Analysis of Plant and Equipment
- Possess extensive knowledge of current practices and methods in the plant industry
Skills
- Negotiation skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work safely and adhering to site rules and procedures
- Full driving license and access to a car as you will be required to travel to multiple NI sites.
