VANRATH are recruiting a Electrician to provide general electrical support to our client's Facilities Management team in Belfast.

Remuneration:
£35000.00 per annum
Plus package
40hr week- Mon to Fri

Client

Our client is the UK/Ireland branch of a huge US-based, Fortune 500 Facilities Management organisation. They provide contracted services for some of the UK and Ireland's largest and most complex sites, spanning industries including; Aviation, Healthcare, Retail & Leisure and more.

With an organisation of hundreds of thousands of staff across the US, Europe and the UK, our client provide specialist support in areas of Facilities Management, Security, Logistical Support and Waste Processing.

Having recently been awarded a prestigious, ongoing contract to provide full-service support to one of Belfast's largest and most recognisable Manufacturing facilities, they now seek technical support for strategic positions within their on-site team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Breakdown Response: Attend to electrical breakdowns promptly and efficiently across multiple client sites.
  • Installation of Wiring and Electrical Systems: Install electrical systems as and when required.
  • Inspection, testing and certification: Perform electrical minor works certificates and installation certificates to a high standard.
  • EICR Remedials: Execute remedial actions identified in Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR's) to ensure compliance and system integrity.
  • Response Time Management: Meet response time requirements for priority tasks to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Fault Finding: Efficiently diagnose and correct electrical faults.
  • PDA Utilisation: Effectively use a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) for task management and reporting.
  • Emergency Lighting Remedials: Execute remedial actions identified in emergency lighting reports.
  • General and External Lighting Repairs: Perform repairs on high bay, low bay, internal task lighting and external lighting systems.



The Ideal Person:

  • C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • C&G Level 3 Award in Electrical Installation
  • Minimum 2 years experience in general Electrician's work
