📍 Derry | £45,000 per annum

A leading manufacturing company in the Derry area is looking to add an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to its engineering function. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to step into a Monday to Friday day shift role with no weekend or night work - offering a strong work-life balance and long-term job security.


About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the site's electrical infrastructure and supporting production through both reactive and preventative maintenance. You'll work as part of a hands-on team focused on reducing downtime and keeping plant operations running smoothly.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing faults across electrical systems and equipment.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance schedules to improve equipment reliability.
  • Responding swiftly to breakdowns and implementing effective solutions.
  • Contributing to ongoing process improvements in collaboration with engineering and production teams.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures and company standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records and helping identify recurring issues to prevent future failures.


What We're Looking For:

  • Time-served electrical engineer with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (Desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Safety-first mindset with attention to detail.
