Our client is a local electrical company that works with some large public sector bodies and has an opportunity for an Electrical Design Manager to lead the design team.

About your next role This is a role of major importance within our client's company. The role would suit someone with management experience and someone who is familiar with control panel & switchgear design. Someone who has worked on pricing of works and client interaction would also be preferred.

About you

• Level 3 qualified in Design or Engineering discipline
• 5 years' experience in electrical design role
• Experience dealing with clients
• AutoCAD / Eplan expert
• Experience designing, costing and managing build of switchgear & control panels

What you'll do

• Management of the design team, overseeing all works
• Produce control panel and switchgear design drawings using AutoCAD & Eplan
• Work with the wider team with pricing of works
• Client interaction when needed
