Electrical Design Engineer

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in Telecommunications and Network Sites? Interested in a role with a large national telecoms company?

VANRATH are recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer to assist in the design and construction of various network sites around NI.

Remote/Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Remuneration:
c£40,000 to £45,000 dependant upon experience.

Client
Our client is the longest established provider of professional and network support services to the wireless telecommunications sector.
They pride themselves on their ability to cover all disciplines as required by their extensive, national client base, offering a 'one-stop-shop' service for network support- from Design and Build, Power Facilitation and Engineering to expert advice and consultation.
Their team in NI has undergone considerable growth in the last 12 months, doubling in headcount from 30 to 60 team members and they look to continue this into 2024.

Main Responsibilities

• Produce electrical designs using Electrical OM software and AutoCAD
• Actively support wider design team with electrical engineering solutions
• Assist senior design team in the production of technical guidance and processes regarding electrical engineering.
• Attend site surveys where specialist input is required
• Ensure all safety, quality, technical and commercial requirements are being met

The Ideal Person

• Third level qualification in Electrical/Design Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years Design experience in Civils/Construction
