Electrical Design Engineer

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience with experience in Water/Waste Water? Interested in an exciting opportunity with a leading process engineering company?

VANRATH are recruiting an Electrical Design Engineer with a specialism in renewables, water and waste water to join our client's growing engineering team.

Remuneration:
c£27,000 - £35,000 DOE

Client
Our client is a highly skilled process engineering company, with specialist skills in water treatment, energy, environmental and facilities engineering solutions.

They currently have a need to expand their Engineering Team to work on district heating projects, chemical dosing systems and their line of water and waste water treatment technologies.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordination of all elements of Electrical Design for products.
• Coordination of designs with other disciplines
• Producing Single Line Diagrams, Cable schedules, cable calculations, BOMS, Electrical Layouts.
• Quality Assurance
• Specification and selection of equipment.
• Use of CAD software
• Estimate Generation and TBAs
• Preparation of Tender Documents
• Attendance at Factory Acceptance and Site Acceptance Tests
• Liaising with vendors and contractors
• Construction and commissioning support including dealing with contractor queries
• Knowledge & experience of current statutory and industrial standards.

The Ideal Person:

• Third Level Qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of industry specific experience
• Full UK Drivers License
