About you:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in an appropriate subject
  • GCSE English Language (Grade A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Communication
  • GCSE Maths (Grades A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Application of Number, or NICATS Access Maths modules
  • At least 12 months' experience working one-to-one with young people or adults in FE or HE environments
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or additional barriers to learning
  • Proven ability to deliver study skills and support behavioural challenges
  • Ability to travel between campuses as required

What you'll do:

  • Provide tailored in-class support to learners in small groups or one-to-one
  • Recognise and address barriers to learning
  • Support students in literacy, numeracy, communication, and IT skills
  • Manage challenging behaviour and make reasonable adjustments for individuals
  • Prepare progress reports to monitor student development
  • Organise drop-in sessions to offer additional guidance and support
