About you:
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in an appropriate subject
- GCSE English Language (Grade A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Communication
- GCSE Maths (Grades A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 or higher in Application of Number, or NICATS Access Maths modules
- At least 12 months' experience working one-to-one with young people or adults in FE or HE environments
- Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or additional barriers to learning
- Proven ability to deliver study skills and support behavioural challenges
- Ability to travel between campuses as required
What you'll do:
- Provide tailored in-class support to learners in small groups or one-to-one
- Recognise and address barriers to learning
- Support students in literacy, numeracy, communication, and IT skills
- Manage challenging behaviour and make reasonable adjustments for individuals
- Prepare progress reports to monitor student development
- Organise drop-in sessions to offer additional guidance and support
