Job description

VANRATH is delighted to be partnering with a leading company in the construction and interiors sector to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager to join their growing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract (maternity cover).

This is a Portadown-based role with travel around the branches. Happy to discuss hybrid working.

This role is Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a small internal marketing team and external agency partners to deliver high-quality marketing campaigns across multiple brands.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales function to ensure marketing activity supports lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Develop, implement, and optimise digital marketing strategies across web, social, and email channels to build brand awareness and engagement.
  • Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI on all campaigns.
  • Maintain and evolve brand identity across multiple business divisions to ensure consistency and impact.
  • Report on key metrics, analysing campaign performance to inform data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
  • Continue on with the existing marketing plan - this is all in place and there will be a handover.

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years' experience managing and executing marketing strategies across multiple brands or business units.
  • Proven digital marketing expertise with hands-on experience in paid, organic, and email campaigns.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and report on performance.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills with experience managing agencies and internal teams.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, and adaptable with strong attention to detail.

Desirable

  • Experience within the construction, interiors, or design sector.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong creative eye and brand awareness.
