Digital Marketing Executive

VANRATH have partnered with a leading utility provider to recruit a Digital Marketing Executive based at their Headquarters in Belfast.

The Role:


Working directly with the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be trusted to oversee and implement the company online marketing strategy.
They will plan and execute digital and email marketing campaigns.
The successful candidate will also maintain, create and update content on the company website.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and upload regular copy and images to the company website.
  • To update information on the company website on a daily basis.
  • To write and manage a content plan for online channels, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and anything further added to the online presence.
  • To work with marketing agencies and maintain relationships.
  • To schedule social media content on each platform.
  • Create social media engagement campaigns.
  • Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.
  • Update web banners and assist with web and online visuals.
  • Write and dispatch email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the contact database and assist with lead generation activities.
  • Maintain Google ad-words campaigns.
  • Keep up to date with current digital trends.
  • Negotiate with media suppliers' best price for campaigns.
  • Provide web analytics reports to measure online performance.
  • Continually work on the SEO on the company website.
  • Contribute new ideas to help create brand awareness.



The Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years Digital Marketing experience.
  • Educated to degree in a marketing/ digital related subject, or a professional marketing qualification.
  • The ability to work to deadlines, be well organised and detailed.
  • The ability to manage multiple campaigns with tight deadlines.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work as part of team as well on own initiative
  • An excellent problem solver
  • Demonstrable commitment to confidentiality
  • Demonstrable commitment to good customer care
  • Excellent IT skills, with proven experience in Microsoft Packages
  • Knowledge/ experience in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator packages.
  • A valid driving licence and access to personal transport
