Job description

VANRATH is delighted to be working with a well-established, multi-site healthcare organisation to recruit a Digital & Communications Marketing Executive for a newly enhanced role within their head office team.

This position offers a unique blend of digital marketing, brand storytelling and internal communications, supporting both external engagement and employee connection across multiple operational sites. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping how the organisation communicates its values, achievements and culture.

The Role

Reporting into senior stakeholders, the Digital Marketing & Communications Executive will take ownership of digital channels and internal communications, ensuring a consistent, engaging and professional voice across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Digital & Social Media Marketing

  • Create and deliver engaging digital and social media activity across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X
  • Develop creative content that highlights people, services, events and organisational culture
  • Track trends and engagement data to continuously refine digital performance

Content & Brand Storytelling

  • Produce high-quality written, visual and video content for digital use
  • Work with internal teams to source stories and build a strong content library
  • Act as a brand champion, ensuring tone and messaging align with organisational values

Website & Search Optimisation

  • Maintain and update company websites, ensuring content accuracy and accessibility
  • Optimise digital content to improve SEO performance and online visibility
  • Support attraction of residents, families and prospective employees

Campaigns & Email Marketing

  • Support the delivery of digital campaigns, including recruitment, brand and awareness initiatives
  • Assist with email marketing activity and paid digital advertising
  • Monitor results and provide insight on campaign effectiveness

Reputation & Online Reviews

  • Monitor online reviews and brand presence across relevant platforms
  • Respond to feedback professionally and in line with brand guidelines
  • Use insights to support continuous improvement

Internal Communications

  • Develop and deliver engaging internal communications to connect teams across multiple locations
  • Produce newsletters, updates and campaigns celebrating achievements and sharing key information
  • Partner with HR, Operations and leadership to ensure clear, consistent messaging

Reporting & Analytics

  • Use analytics tools to assess performance across digital channels
  • Provide clear reporting and actionable insights to senior stakeholders

What You'll Need

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or similar OR a minimum of 2 years' experience in a comparable role
  • Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, content creation and social media management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and analytics platforms
  • Understanding of SEO, email marketing and digital advertising
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and sites

Desirable

  • Experience within healthcare, hospitality or multi-site environments
  • A passion for storytelling, engagement and people-focused communication
