Client:
Our client is a leading fit-out contractor based in Antrim, Northern Ireland. They carry out high end fit-out projects across multiple sectors including high end residential, commercial, hotels and more.

Business is thriving with a large order book secured for the long term. This has created a great opportunity for a Design Technician to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some outstanding high end projects for a well respected company in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Production of detailed construction drawings of bespoke unitary, furniture, architectural components and fittings
• Ensure drawings are produced in a timely manner and alterations also dealt with promptly
• Liaison with sub-contractors, production and operations teams
• Input at site surveys will occasionally be required.

The Ideal Person:

• Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
• Experience working on fit out projects involving detailed joinery
• Strong on AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of current building regulations
• Experience with BIM projects would be ideal but not essential
• Be proactive and dedicated to completing projects on time
• Experience in technical detailing involving construction and / or joinery fit-out detailing with good proven 2D drawing ability
• Ability to use a 3D drawing package such as SolidWorks, Revit or Inventor would be ideal
• Able to commute to Antrim on a daily basis
