Deputy Litigation Manager

VANRATH are partnering with a large Public Sector organisation based in Newry in their search for a Deputy Litigation Manager to join their team for at least 6-12 months with potential for extension and remote working.

This is a Band 6 role with a starting salary of £32,306pa plus excellent benefits exclusive to VANRATH contractors.

The Ideal Person
Relevant* Degree or recognised professional qualification or equivalent/Higher qualification AND 1 years' experience in a role with significant project or case management responsibility
Relevant* HNC/HND or equivalent/higher qualification AND in a role with significant project or case management responsibility.
4 years' experience in a role significant project or case management responsibility.
*Relevant is defined as Management/Business/Law related

  • A minimum of 1 year experience supervising a team.
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Litigation Manager in the provision and management of the Trust litigation services, including clinical and social care negligence claims, public and employer liability claims, Coroners Inquests, applications for Judicial Reviews, management of Third Party Accident claims and medico-legal services. The post holder will support the Litigation Manager in leading a team of litigation staff and ensure that best practice is adopted with regard to the management of the above named services.
