Salary/ Benefits
Equivalent to Band 4, Point 1 on the HSCNI Pay Scale - £23,949 Per Annum (+ Holiday Pay & Pension)

Client

They are a large Belfast based Health care focused organisation. The team functions by proving support for a Organisation Wide IT Service centre across all IT Services, Data centres and internal customers. You will be joining at a time some extremely important change and projects are kicking off in the team

The Ideal Person

The ideal candidate must have proven experience of a working knowledge and management of all or some of the aspects listed below:

  • Backup/ Restore and Security, Reliability and Confidentiality of ADS
  • Manage the provisioning and access rights to Print Service, File Sharing Services and for devices attached to the Trust's ICT equipment.
  • Windows Server platform, Windows Group Policy Objects and Windows Active Directory & Federation services
  • Windows Profile management, Windows Patch management and Virtual Server platform
  • Windows Terminal services, Microsoft Print services and Application Virtualisation Technologies
  • Automation using tools such as MS Powershell, Windows Direct Access and Imprivata SSO

Responsibilities
The post holder will assist in the support, delivery and management of ICT Services:

  • Assist with the rollout of IT infrastructure to other trust locations outside of the base location
  • Assist in the imaging and set up of laptops, PCs, and trust mobile devices
  • Facilitate the working from home initiative through delivery of equipment
  • Log incidents and service requests received by telephone, email or via the vFire portal from Health Service staff and third-party suppliers
  • Provide first level resolution services for a number of systems (e.g. Active Directory password resets, Samsung activations and password resets, creating email addresses and managing mailbox permissions using MS Exchange etc.)
  • Liaise with customers to acquire the necessary details regarding logged incidents and service requests
