About you:

  • Qualified Solicitor: You are a qualified solicitor with proven experience in defence litigation, ideally within a reputable law firm environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical abilities, enabling you to assess complex legal issues and develop effective defence strategies.

What you'll do:

  • Defence Litigation: Manage a diverse caseload of defence litigation matters, representing clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation, staying abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to inform legal strategies.
  • Case Management: Handle all aspects of case management, including drafting legal documents, preparing witnesses, and conducting legal analysis to ensure the effective representation of clients.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress, advising on legal options, and addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on legal developments and best practices in defence litigation, actively seeking opportunities for professional development and growth.

Who are you?

Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE working in defence insurance litigation. Specifically, with experience in any of the following areas:

  • Noise induced hearing loss
  • Industrial disease
  • Motor
  • PL
  • Insurance indemnity issues
