Database Developer (Software House- SQL Server/Oracle)

Job Description

A software company is currently looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Database Developer who is self-driven and enthusiastic to become part of their team. The chosen candidate will work closely with the development team to create, enhance, and maintain the company's database systems through designing, testing, and developing them.


  • Design, develop, test and maintain database systems
  • Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and stored procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement database solutions
  • Ensure database performance, security, and scalability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues
  • Create and maintain documentation related to database design and functionality


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in database development
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server
  • Knowledge of SQL and database design principles
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and database optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with database management tools and frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
