Data Visualization Analyst (Hybrid/35K)

Job Description

Our client is a top-tier healthcare company providing data analytics and consulting services to optimize patient testing and treatment pathways for pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies.

As the Data Visualization Analyst, you will utilize your strong analytical mindset and experience in visualizing complex data to build innovative dashboards for various external stakeholder engagements. Working collaboratively across internal teams and client accounts, you will lead data visualization efforts for all data projects, transforming intricate data requirements into visually appealing outputs that provide valuable insights to drive our customers' business growth.

Responsibilities will include

  • Designing and maintaining best-in-class dashboards
  • Creating interactive visualizations that facilitate understanding of data correlations throughout the drug commercialization process, and translating complex rules and project requirements into technical specifications.
  • You will utilize SQL-based database queries and programming languages like R, Python, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Ensuring high-quality input data supplemented with industry insights, you will deliver clear and effective dashboards within set deadlines, exceeding client expectations to secure repeat business.
  • Collaboration with other teams to support operational excellence and identifying process improvements for best-in-class performance will be essential.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics, computer science, informatics, mathematics, or a scientific field (additional PhD, MSc, or MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly data visualizations and dashboards using complex datasets
  • Working understanding of healthcare data space, including claims, EHR, and clinical data sources, and experience with relational databases and managing large amounts of complex data
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sisense
  • Programming knowledge in Python, R, C, and JavaScript, with advanced programming experience being advantageous
  • Proficiency in SQL, data models, data wrangling, and data architecture
  • Curiosity for exploring improved ways to answer clients' business questions through clean and clinical visualizations
  • Hands-on experience with commercial healthcare data, preferably US claims data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and customers
  • Self-starter ability to work independently and on your initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required by the role
