Job description

Our client is seeking a Data Insights Manager to play a pivotal role within a growing analytics function that supports high-profile internal teams. This role is centred around enabling smarter decision-making through data-driven insights, developing advanced reporting solutions, and managing a team delivering analytical work across multiple business units.

You will act as a trusted advisor - understanding operational needs, translating requirements into analytics solutions, and ensuring work is delivered to a consistently high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, presenting data in meaningful ways, and helping others elevate their digital capabilities.

What You'll Lead & Deliver

  • Develop and enhance interactive reporting dashboards to improve visibility of key business metrics

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and shape analytics solutions

  • Act as the go-to expert for data modelling, interpretation, and performance tracking

  • Convert complex datasets into clear formats that support business cases and operational insight

  • Apply automation and emerging AI tools to reduce effort and increase accuracy where possible

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of analytical assignments, ensuring appropriate resource allocation

  • Support onboarding, coaching and capability development for junior analysts

  • Create compelling narratives and visualisations that communicate insights with clarity

  • Maintain strong governance and quality standards across all deliverables

What You'll Bring

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and offer practical recommendations

  • Experience delivering reporting and data-driven solutions in a professional environment

  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build credibility quickly

  • Skilled in creating dashboards and well-structured data visuals (Power BI preferred)

  • Advanced Excel and practical experience using SQL / Python for data manipulation

  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and introduce automation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior audiences

  • Highly organised with strong prioritisation and attention to detail

Why This Role Matters

You'll be part of a transformation that is redefining how internal teams use data - helping shape tooling, analytics capability, and decision-making maturity across the organisation.

This is a chance to take ownership, build upon an evolving strategy, and drive measurable impact.
