Fully Remote

The Opportunity
My client is currently on the lookout for a Data Architect to help accelerate the pace and scale of insight led transformation you can offer clients. Their fast-growing Data & Analytics practice in Technology Consulting, needs Platform & Data Architecture expertise!
Your key responsibilities

  • Deliver added value to the clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions for improving their data management approach
  • Translate business requirements into technology requirements and define data standards and principles
  • Design data architecture approach and principles, to deliver on business needs retaining agility/adaptability across their estate
  • Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modelling, data flows, metadata, security and reference data
  • Equip and support data engineering teams to uphold data architecture and modelling standards
  • Build documentation and govern the data architecture deliverables g. blueprints, principles, procedures, and standards
  • Ensure data architecture and design is compliant with policies as set out for data privacy and protection
  • Support Senior Leadership to seize new business opportunities and help to ensure the business is positioned to capitalize on opportunities by providing high quality services to its clients
  • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in all interactions with the client
  • Build strong internal relationships within their Consulting Services and with other service lines across the organization to ensure efficient utilization of knowledge and resources to deliver services


To qualify for the role, you must have

  • You have at least 6-10 years of relevant work experience in Business or Technology Consulting
  • You have at least 3 years of managerial experience
  • You are fluent in English


Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience and accreditation with Microsoft Azure's data platform including Data Factory, Purview, Synapse, Data Lake, Data Bricks, Analytics and Power BI,
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms e.g. AWS
  • Experience of using SQL, Python and ETL / ELT
  • Knowledge and experience of DevOps,
  • Exposure in ITIL and CobiT method will be considered as an asset
  • TOGAF certification
  • Experience working with on/offshore delivery teams
