DATA ANALYST - HSCNI (Band 5)

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity with one of our large HSCNI clients. You will be joining at a time some extremely important projects improving all areas of the Health Service with use of data analysis.

This role will run for a minimum of 6+ months, with plans for long-term extension, and is a full-time 37.5 hours per week. As it is highly likely this role will be extended and should be seen as an excellent chance to get your foot in the door with HSCNI, if this is of interest.

The role will be based onsite in either Antrim, or Ballymena as preferred, and will accomodate working on a hybrid basis if required.

Salary

  • £27-28K + Holiday Pay + Pension + Discount Benefits

The Ideal Candidate

  • Relevant experience in performance management and statistical analysis
  • Strong working experience in Excel.
  • Information / data related degree + 1 year working experience in performance management.
  • Health / medical data experience is desirable

Responsibilities

    • Support the development and maintenance of consistent Performance Management arrangements across the Trust linking operational and individual objectives with corporate goals.
    • Responsibility for the analysis, interpretation and reporting of Community and Acute information to support the regular monitoring of Trust performance to reflect Corporate, Ministerial and Commissioning Targets and Indicators and compliance with Service Agreements.
    • Liaise with Commissioners and other DHSSPSNI organisations to ensure efficient and effective administration of performance monitoring returns.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of key performance indicators for key service areas in the Trust, reflecting regional targets, Ministerial and DHSSPSNI priorities.
    • Identify and undertake data quality and procedural audits for the capturing and presentation of information in the support of regular and non-recurrent funding arrangements.
    • Utilise ICT infrastructure and software packages to enhance the delivery of performance reporting and service improvement.
    * Utilise and maintain tools including Balanced Scorecards systems to support operational Directorates implement performance
