Vanrath is delighted to represent a highly esteemed family business in the FMCG sector, with a rich history spanning over 50 years. Our client operates two state-of-the-art production facilities, each benefiting from significant investment to boost production capabilities. They are now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join their team.

Role Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in enhancing data-driven decision-making processes. This role involves managing data analytics, designing data processes, and improving reporting systems to support business operations. You will play a key role in providing high-quality analysis and actionable insights that contribute to the strategic goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive data analytics.
  • Design and oversee data processes and data flows.
  • Enhance existing reporting systems.
  • Provide analytics support to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Analyse issues to identify root causes.
  • Produce regular reports on business activity and outcomes.
  • Collaborate across departments to align data collection with business needs.
  • Create presentations to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.


Essential Criteria:

  • A third level qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience with business ERP systems.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar data analysis role.
  • Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to meet business demands.
  • Highly motivated, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car.


Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in FMCG, preferably within a product-based environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central (Navision) ERP system.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • A valid passport.
