Vanrath are currently recruiting for a Customs Agent on behalf of a leading business based in Mallusk / Newtownabbey.

Permanent role.
The Role:
- Will follow the following specific areas relating to customs brokerage:
- National customs regulations - TSS and CDS Entry Submission
- Make certain that files are logged correctly and timely with proper event codes updated.
- Monitor and review post entry activity with brokerage supervisor.
- Make certain that discrepancies are monitored and resolved timely and correctly.
- Escalate necessary issues to Customs Supervisor or District Manager.
- Customs policies, controls, procedures and processes
- Operational and customer service execution
The Person:
- Previous experience in a Customs / Logistics role
- The ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Remuneration:
- Salary range (Negotiable)
- Performance bonus
