Customer Service Representative

VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing company who are actively seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Belfast.

This is an urgent requirement offering an immediate start date.

This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.

Salary

£26,000 - £30,000 per year + fantastic benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving orders from customers, acknowledging and confirming to the customer
  • Request freight quotes from transport partners and book collections with partners via on-line portals / e-mail.
  • Liaising with the production department to confirm the expected dispatch date for the order and communicating this to the customer.
  • Keeping the customer fully informed as to the progress of their order, especially any unforeseen changes in the dispatch date.
  • Liaising with stores and notifying the customer when their order has been dispatched and providing relevant paperwork including issuing of invoice
  • Track & trace shipments and keep customers updated.
  • Dispatching of finished goods and invoicing on the system as well as sending invoices to the customer.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent experience in an Administrative capacity, ideally 2+ years.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal for phone & email.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Self-starter, proactive with good time management skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Educated to A-Level or equivalent.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Knowledge or experience of the Chemical Industry.
  • Ability to speak a European language.
