VANRATH are delighted to be working with an international manufacturing business based in County Tyrone, who are currently recruiting a Cost Accountant to join their team until December 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation who operate on a global scale and are competing with the leading names within the industry. The business have committed to investing within the Northern Irish site, to ensure they reach their ambitious growth plans, over the coming years.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for cost analysis, management accounts support, and project accounting. To be considered for this role it is essential to have previous experience within a similar role.

The Ideal Person

If you are a Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant with costing experience:

  • Strong reporting skills
  • Manufacturing experience (Essential)
  • Ability to work productively and flexibly while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven industry
  • Cost Management

Responsibilities

As a Cost Accountant your responsibilities will be:

  • Analysis of monthly management accounts
  • Cost control and analysis
  • Sales analysis - develop sales reporting
  • Assist with the implementation of the ERP system & other projects
  • Stock control and valuation reporting
