Job Overview
VANRATH is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Corporate Business Officer. This excellent opportunity is aimed at a highly organised individual who will support committees, monitor legislative compliance, assist with daily operations and facility management, and oversee Corporate Business staff.
The Person
- Must possess a university degree or relevant professional qualification, along with either 1 year of experience in staff management and servicing Committee meetings, or a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- Have at least 1 year of experience working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and excellent verbal and written communication skills for minute-taking and report writing.
- Knowledge of health and social care agendas, staff management policies, and Facilities Management, including health and safety procedures.
- Hold a current full driving licence valid in the UK and have access to a car, unless a disability prevents driving, in which case alternative transport arrangements will be accepted.
The Role
- Provide secretariat support to LCG/Commissioning Groups, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and compliance monitoring.
- Act as the main contact for Committee members, managing the annual meeting schedule and logistics for public meetings.
- Support Facilities Management, addressing health and safety, waste management, and external contract monitoring.
- Line manage Corporate Business staff, overseeing recruitment, performance, and training initiatives.
- Foster a culture of openness and teamwork, promoting personal development and adherence to organisational policies.
