VANRATH are recruiting a Contracts Manager to work on Civil Engineering projects for a Specialist Contractor, based in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:
£50,000 - £60,000 + car / allowance / bonus / package

Our client is a family-owned company that operate in piling, groundworks, drilling, specialist foundation, geotechnical and ground engineering sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.

The business is committed to continuous improvement and development and pride themselves on developing a deep understanding of their clients' requirements, offering innovative solutions on a range of projects of various sizes and complexities.

Business is busy with many projects ongoing and in the pipeline. As a result, the business have a great opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based out of their offices in Warrenpoint. The Contracts Manager will be office based with site visits 1 or 2 days per week, responsible for overseeing multiple projects at any given time.

The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Track record working as a Contracts Manager or Project Manager
  • Extensive experience working on civil engineering projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
  • Strong man management skills able to get the best out of site teams
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Able to commute to Downpatrick on a daily basis
