Senior Business Analyst

VANRATH are recruiting a contract Business Analyst for a major Utility organisation in NI. This Business Analyst role focuses on driving business change and develop requirements for new technology solutions.

Reporting into the Head of Business Analysis for outputs, this is a 5 day per week role, hybrid working (3 days on site in Belfast) and is running for 12 months initially.

  • Inside IR35 (via a VANRATH approved Umbrella company)

  • Working with excellent, experienced colleagues on meaningful projects.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with multiple business end users across a large organisation
  • Supporting the translation of business requirements into system requirements
  • Supporting a large IT implementation or transformation programme
  • Using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies on IT implementations
  • Supporting and developing a broad range of business applications
  • Technical understanding of IT concepts such as Agile methodologies, SDLC, IT Infrastructure, Databases, Cloud computing, Cybersecurity, Data Protection and IT Governance

Ideal Person:

  • Degree/HND in ICT or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience
  • Experience of establishing requirement enabling business teams to transition from legacy systems to new platforms within M365.
  • Functions will enable collaboration; business process carry out key business functions
  • Establish requirements for the redevelopment of an Intranet site which provides a hub for communication, documentation, system access and company information
  • Experience of key application upgrade and replacement projects including 3rd party implementations
