Contract ISO27001:2022 Implementer

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted recruiting a contract ISO27001:2022 Implementation Manager for an initial 3 month period. This role is to lead compliance activities for ISO27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) and has a particular focus on transitioning from ISO27001:2013 to ISO27001:2022.

The role is hybrid/fully remote working, an initial duration of 3 months f(ull time 5 days or open minded to part time too). You will be reporting into an existing Transformation Lead for outputs.

Remuneration:

This role will pay £450-500 per day (outside IR35 available).

Responsibilities:

  • Review the Issues Log and identify required corrective actions.
  • Develop and execute project plans to address issues and ensure compliance within specified time lines.
  • Update and create processes, procedures, and forms.
  • Conduct training and education for staff as needed.
  • Assess requirements for ISO27001:2022 compliance and identify gaps.
  • Develop project plans and assign resources to address gaps.
  • Create and roll out updated or new processes, procedures, and templates.
  • Implement and review technical solutions, such as asset management tools and vulnerability analysis systems
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand and formalise existing processes.
  • Regularly update the Issues Log with corrective actions and progress.
  • Report progress to the Senior Management Team

The Ideal Person:

  • Proven experience with ISO27001 standards.
  • Strong skills in process mapping and documenting procedures.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Background in change management or business analysis is desirable.
  • Have previous experience utilising a project methodology (e.g. PRINCE 2, other similar methodology).
  • Hold an ITIL foundation certificate
