VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting a Compliance Officer for a multi award winning, innovative learning software provider.

This is a World Leading support organisation that has offices around the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer, as the organisation has a key focus on developing and progressing staff within the company.

The successful candidate will initially work completely from home, with plans down the line to move to a hybrid working model, in which a couple days per week would be spent within the company's very modern Antrim Headquarters. Monday - Friday (9.00am - 5.00pm, or 8.00am - 4.00pm, or 10.00am - 6.00pm / Pick preferred working hours)

Salary

£27,000 - £34,000

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring business operations comply with operational policies, procedures and controls to maximise efficiency, drive continual improvement, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.
  • To champion the integrated management system and the improvements and benefits to the company it provides and to occasionally provide training to company staff;
  • Carry out security and quality based audits across the business to provide assurance that internal and external risks faced by the company are being managed;
  • Execute and help to develop the company's Internal audit programme and to support the continual development of the internal audit process;
  • Working with internal departments, assess, identify and report areas of weakness and work with management to devise remediating solutions;
  • To help drive continual improvement including working with process leaders to suggest and implement corrective actions and follow up.

Essential Criteria:

  • Degree level (or equivalent) qualification or relevant experience
  • Previous experience working in a quality or security management system (e.g. ISO) environment
  • Previous experience in data protection compliance

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in internal auditing to ISO 27001 and/or 9001
  • Experience of working to GDPR compliance
