We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join a highly successful Food Retail Services / FMCG company with a multi-billion-pound turnover. Known for its strong employee culture, this organisation is an excellent place to build a long-term career.
Location & Working Pattern:
Hybrid role - 2 days remote, 3 days in the Belfast office (Dargan Crescent)
Permanent, Monday to Friday

Role Purpose:
The Compliance Manager will ensure that the business operates in line with all regulatory requirements, protecting both the company's finances and reputation. The role covers compliance across Distribution, Retail Partners, and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with external advisors and Group teams to develop, implement, and update HMRC procedures in line with Windsor Framework requirements.
Ensure all company policies and procedures remain compliant with current legislation.
Work with TSS, Shipping Solutions, and suppliers to maintain accurate documentation and due diligence for HMRC Tariff compliance.
Coordinate with Trading, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and Finance teams to manage compliance records.
Provide guidance to Trading and supplier functions to support informed decision-making.
Monitor transactions and activities to maintain ongoing compliance.
Liaise with internal and external auditors as required.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in a compliance role, ideally within FMCG or food retail.
Strong knowledge of BRC standards and customer requirements for supply assurance.
Auditing experience and a methodical approach to compliance.
Desirable:
Experience with Customs procedures and Windsor Framework compliance.
Knowledge of Duty Paid and Duty Deferred processes.
