This role is based is Hybrid working - 2 days at home and 3 days in Belfast Office (Dargan Crescent). Permanent - Monday - Friday position.

Job Purpose

This role is key to supporting this business in NI with the financial and reputation protection of the business at group level.

  • Oversee compliance with legislative requirements across Distribution, Retail Partners, and acquisitions.

  • Collaborate with external consultants and Group Functions to design, implement, and update HMRC procedures in line with Windsor Framework requirements.

  • Ensure policies and procedures reflect current legislation, with expert support available as needed.

  • Work with TSS, Shipping Solutions, and Suppliers to complete and maintain documentation and due diligence for HMRC Tariff compliance.

  • Coordinate internally with Trading, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and Finance to manage required documentation and maintain compliance records.

  • Provide informed input into business decision-making processes for Trading and supplier functions.

  • Monitor ongoing transactions to ensure continued compliance with procedures.

  • Liaise with internal and external auditors as necessary.

The Ideal Person

  • Experience in similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of BRC and customer requirements in relation to supply assurance.
  • Good auditing skills.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Customs and Windsor Framework compliance
  • Duty paid and Duty deferred knowledge
