Are you a senior finance professional with experience of working in a group setting? Our client are a market leading company in the construction industry and are recruiting for a Company Accountant to support their Financial Controller on an interim basis for 6 months.

About the organisation
VANRATH are delighted to be supporting a successful investment business based in Belfast city centre, as they look to recruit a Company Accountant to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business who have several revenue streams across Northern Ireland.
The Company Accountant will report to the Finance Director and will assume responsibility for preparing quarter end and year end accounts, cashflow management and supervision of a small finance team.
To be considered for this role it is essential to have experience in a similar setting, ideally within a group environment, along with having a flexible approach to work.
Start date set for December 2025.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven environment
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a group setting
- Commitment to complete a long term contract
What you'll do
- Preparation of quarterly accounts
- Preparation of cashflows, development of projections and budgets
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Producing board reports on monthly basis
- Production of year end accounts
- Management of small finance team
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems and controls.
