VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a successful business in the Carrickfergus area who are recruiting a Company Accountant, into a newly created role. This is an exciting time to join an organisation who have grown from strength to strength and are continuing their expansion plans within their niche sector.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Company Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate production of financial & management accounts for multiple entities within the group. This will involve the budgeting & forecasting, variance analysis, monthly reporting, alongside working closely with the wider finance team.

If you have proven experience in a similar role, this could be an opportunity to join a highly regarded employer within the local area. As the Company Accountant is a new role for the business, there is an opportunity to have autonomy over the role, and ideally it would suit an individual with a flexible approach to work.

About you

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong financial & management accounting skills
• Sage Line 50 experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple deadlines

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of cashflows, development of projections & budgets
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies
