It is a great time to join as they have recently secured a new acquisition and now require a Company Accountant to join the team.

The Company Accountant will take full responsibility for the finances of the acquisition, including financial & management accounts, PAYE, VAT returns and all associated tasks. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is keen to take on a challenging role, within a group who can offer significant opportunities for progression.

Candidates making their first move from practice will be considered, along with individuals with proven industry experience.

About you

If you are a Qualified Accountant:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
  • Experience of management and financial accounting skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to work in a deadline driven environment

What you'll do

  • Complete monthly management accounts, including nominals, journals, prepayments & accruals
  • Assist in year-end preparation
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • Balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
  • Overseeing the purchase & sales ledgers
  • Cash flow forecasting
