VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a leading public sector organisation, who are seeking to appoint a Community Services Coordinator, who will manage local service delivery across multiple channels, support improvement initiatives, and drive collaboration, communication, and change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality services across physical, virtual, and out-of-hours platforms.
  • Utilise digital tools to improve service accessibility and efficiency.
  • Respond to customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Support the development and delivery of community programmes and initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with external organisations to expand service reach.
  • Promote equality of access and encourage wider community participation.
  • Manage teams, staff performance, and professional development.
  • Coordinate resources, projects, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience managing people and resources, supported by:
    A degree or higher with at least two years in a leadership role OR
    Four years in a comparable operational role without a qualification.
  • Experience working with a team to meet objectives.
  • A track record of improving user or customer satisfaction through service enhancement.
  • Full, clean driving license with access to appropriate vehicle.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, across various locations.

Desirable Criteria

  • A relevant professional qualification in service development, management, or information-related work.
