Commercial GAS Boiler Maintenance Engineer
Client
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Gas Heating Service & Maintenance Engineer to join our client's successful and well-established Building Services division in Belfast.
The company delivers long-term maintenance contracts across commercial, industrial, healthcare and education facilities throughout Northern Ireland, with an excellent reputation for reliability, safety and engineer support.
This is a stable, long-term role offering varied local work, strong technical backup and ongoing training opportunities.
The Ideal Person
You will be a Commercial Gas Engineer with experience servicing and maintaining commercial heating and boiler plant.
Engineers with some commercial tickets and the desire to upskill are strongly encouraged to apply - full training and renewal of certifications can be supported.
You should also demonstrate:
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostics ability
* Experience working in commercial plant rooms or mechanical building services environments
* Commitment to safety compliance and high-quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider engineering team
* Background in FM or Building Services (advantageous)
Responsibilities
- Routine servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on commercial boilers, burners and associated plant
* Completing PPMs and attending reactive call-outs in line with service agreements
* Assisting in the installation and commissioning of boiler plant, pumping systems, pipework and associated controls
* Ensuring compliance with Gas Safety Regulations and internal H&S policies
* Completing accurate service and maintenance reports for each site attended
* Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to maintain excellent service delivery
Remuneration
- £18 per hour + on-call / call-out allowance
