The Role:

  • Preparation of monthly and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for operations, commercial, and finance.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage the site budgets; provide variance analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyse financial results through the month end process to identify key performance drivers and opportunities
  • .Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities; monitor and control operational expenses.
  • Analysing the sites' financial data and be the primary point of contact for the Operations, Finance, and Accountancy Organisations.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies; manage audits and internal controls.
  • Develop financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Utilise financial systems and tools to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
  • Driving continuous improvement in processes, including conversion to more automated processes.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
  • Proven ability to communicate and present solutions at a senior management level.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and possesses a high level of flexibility, and demonstrated experience of leading and managing change.
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
