The Role:
- Preparation of monthly and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for operations, commercial, and finance.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the site budgets; provide variance analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyse financial results through the month end process to identify key performance drivers and opportunities
- .Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities; monitor and control operational expenses.
- Analysing the sites' financial data and be the primary point of contact for the Operations, Finance, and Accountancy Organisations.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies; manage audits and internal controls.
- Develop financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with site leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives.
- Utilise financial systems and tools to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Driving continuous improvement in processes, including conversion to more automated processes.
About you
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Proven ability to communicate and present solutions at a senior management level.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and possesses a high level of flexibility, and demonstrated experience of leading and managing change.
- Proven ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
