Our client is an award winning Food Manufacturer with a truly global presence who is looking to recruit for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to help run the Finance function of the Business and help implement the commercial plan for this hugely successful business



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the site Finance function in the preparation of management accounts
  • Provide departmental financial analysis, including the preparation of KPI reporting to drive business improvement
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business and provide the link between finance and the business to provide financial analysis to influence key business decisions
  • Identify process improvements and facilitate/manage project teams to their successful implementation
  • Work closely with commercial team, providing detailed analysis of customer and product profitability and identifying opportunities for profit improvement
  • Adapt reporting in response to changing business needs to provide fresh insights into the current reporting framework
  • Assist in the completion of annual budgets
  • Managing/assisting with ad hoc projects and queries to improve profitability and efficiency of the business


REQUIREMENTS;

  • Qualified accountant with 3 years post qualified experience
  • Experience working in industry is essential, with knowledge of the food sector desirable
  • Must be able to demonstrate commercial focus and knowledge of business operations
  • Strong IT skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Driven to identify and implement business process improvements
  • Experience working as part of a team and working closely with departments across the business
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to stay calm and work well under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Strong individual with experience managing teams and implementing change
