Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm

Duties

• Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Program, set up, and operate a 5-axis CNC mill to produce machined parts.
• Perform in-process inspections and quality checks according to our internal quality system.
• Work meticulously, paying close attention to workmanship.
• Meet set efficiency targets.
• Operate in accordance with company health & safety policies in the workshop environment.
• Always operate safely and responsibly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Maintain good housekeeping and a safe working environment.
• Be flexible and adaptable to business needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the team leader within reason and capability.

Criteria

• 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to write and edit programs on CNC milling machinery.
• Experience with Fanuc i-series controls.
• Previous experience working to quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Proficient in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated strong timekeeping and attendance record.
