CNC Machinist (Newry)
Are you an experienced CNC Machine operator who has previously worked in a precision engineering company. This is a great opportunity to join an established manufacturing company based in Newry.

Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a Aerospace engineering environment
- Minimum 2 years previous experience of using CNC machines
- Ability to load machines with materials
- Follow health and safety guidance
What you'll do
- Load commands ensuring correct tooling, speeds, and feeds are used for each operation.
- Select & load raw materials into the machine, ensuring alignment and fully secure.
- Prepare test sample to ensure machinery produces work according to specifications.
- Examine and measure finished product to ensure process has been completed according to specifications given.
- Perform general maintenance on CNC machines, including lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Monitor the machine during operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimum results.
- Comply with company Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and safe working practices.
- Accurately complete production and quality logs.
- Complete regular checks and maintain machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
- Any other duties deemed necessary to fulfil the requirements of the job.
