Vanrath are hiring qualified Clinical Coders for out HSCNI client. There are full and part time roles available. Remote working within NI - local HSC offices available should you wish to work onsite - may need to attend HQ in Belfast city centre when required. Flexitime options available within core hours.

Experience:

• National Clinical Coding Standard Qualification - Essential
• Strong understanding of coding queries / information
• Outpatient procedures coding experience desirable

Salary & Benefits

• £27,056.00 + Holiday Pay + Pension per annum
• Flexitime

Duties:
- Review and record outpatient medical records to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and obtain additional information as needed
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding changes, updates, and industry standards
- Conduct regular audits to identify coding errors or discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and implementation of coding policies and procedures
- Coding Helpdesk to assist with coding queries and gather further information as required
