Civil Engineer (Water / Public Health Team)

The Ideal Person
The successful candidate will hold a minimum Honours degree in Civil Engineering, with at least 1 year of experience in public health or water engineering. Experience in design and the use of modelling software would be advantageous, though not essential.
You'll be confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong analytical and numerical abilities. The role requires initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Responsibilities
As a Civil Engineer within the Water Team, your duties will include:
Undertaking design for public health and water engineering projects, including water retaining structures, control buildings and pumping stations.
Preparing project specifications, Bills of Quantities, and design documentation.
Attending design team meetings and client consultations.
Organising and overseeing site surveys and site investigations.
Contributing to health and safety plans and ensuring compliance with quality systems.
Providing general civil engineering support to other sections of the company when required.
