VANRATH are excited to be working alongside a Public Sector body in Belfast who are actively looking to recruit a Chief Executive Officer on a long-term contract.

About you will do

You will bring a track record of providing operational, cultural and strategic board level leadership to a complex organisation, ideally bringing experience and insight from a start-up situation. You will be an exceptional strategic thinker, able to inform the strategy for the Commission, shape and deliver its operations, and with the ability to influence and build effective relationships with stakeholders across the public, private and voluntary sectors in Northern Ireland and Great Britain. Your ability to create a well-motivated, dynamic team which is committed to our mission will be the cornerstone for success in this role.

What you'll do

In these roles you will play a major part in a small and high-quality team focusing on supporting the work of the Commission at all its stages, and on representing its interests in the courts, whether domestically or internationally, and whether defending challenges or asserting claims it may make against others. You will operate at the cutting edge of public law and human rights. The work will be both fascinating and demanding, in a supportive and rewarding environment.
