About you:

  • Possess a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or be willing to achieve one within three months
  • Minimum three months' catering experience including food prep and cooking
  • Customer service experience, with an ability to engage positively with visitors
  • Cash handling experience, including managing tills and reconciliations
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends

What you'll do:

  • Assist in menu planning and prepare a variety of meals and beverages, including barista-style coffees
  • Deliver excellent customer service at counters, buffets, and during event catering in Armagh
  • Maintain high hygiene standards, including cleaning, stock control, and equipment maintenance
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, manage tills and end-of-shift reconciliations
  • Support health, safety, and security procedures, ensuring the café and catering areas are safe and secure
  • Lead and assist casual staff, overseeing their tasks and rota schedules
  • Contribute to increasing visitor numbers through quality service and food provision
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Centre's operations
