VANRATH are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Buyer for a growing and fast-paced company based in Belfast. This organisation operates within the FMCG / Nutritional / Food sector.
This role is based in the company's Belfast office, operating Monday to Friday. A hybrid working arrangement is available (80% office / 20% home).
This is a permanent position with a company that holds a strong market reputation.

Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best commercial outcomes
Create and manage purchase orders in line with demand forecasts and inventory requirements
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance against KPIs
Identify opportunities for cost savings and added value
Ensure adherence to internal processes and relevant regulations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support overall business requirements
The Ideal Candidate
Minimum 2 year's experience in a buyer role managing product categories or portfolios within the food retail or wholesale industry or FMCG
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Proven success in delivering commercial outcomes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
