Our client is a well-established organisation operating within the government and agency sector, responsible for managing a large and technically complex estate of more than 68 sites covering approximately 339,000 sqm. With a strong emphasis on BIM-enabled workflows and Digital Twin technologies, they are driving a programme of digital transformation across their estate. You will join a collaborative team focused on estate optimisation, compliance, and sustainability, working alongside professionals across multiple disciplines to support nationally significant projects.
About you
Recognised qualification in AutoCAD within the built environment (with BIM exposure preferred)
Experience producing and maintaining complex 2D CAD drawings aligned with BIM standards
Good understanding of CAD standards, quality assurance procedures, and BIM Level 2 processes
Strong proficiency in MS Excel for managing and organising large datasets
High level of attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to work
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake site visits
What you'll do
Maintain accurate and up-to-date 2D CAD drawings in accordance with defined CAD and BIM standards
Support the development and ongoing management of 3D BIM models and Digital Twin environments
Work with survey data, point clouds, and scanned surveys to produce precise digital building models
Manage asset information within CAFM systems, ensuring asset registers and space data remain accurate
Assist with integrating survey outputs and environmental data into digital estate systems
Undertake site visits to verify building layouts and asset information
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality data supporting estate planning and transformation projects
Contribute to compliance monitoring, lifecycle analysis, and digital reporting initiatives
