VANRATH is proud to be working with a renowned global manufacturer in their search for a Buyer to join their expanding procurement team.

This is a prime opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing or supply chain coordination to join a forward-thinking organisation that invests in its people and offers significant scope for progression. Location: Hybrid working model - HQ in Dungannon (on-site initially for training)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with both internal departments and external vendors to ensure material availability aligns with production demands

  • Contribute to the execution of supply chain strategies in line with sales forecasts and operational planning

  • Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and maintain visibility on production priorities

  • Track supplier pricing and terms, ensuring value and compliance across all purchases

  • Raise purchase orders and reconcile invoices as part of day-to-day procurement activities

  • Work within the Oracle ERP system to maintain accurate procurement data and streamline operations

  • Support commercial tender processes and assist in preparing pricing responses to client enquiries

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement function, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment

  • Strong IT proficiency, with working knowledge of ERP or MRP platforms - Oracle experience preferred

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage multiple priorities
